New Zink Nickel Photo Gallery is Available
Processi Speciali services include the electrodeposition of zinc-nickel alloy plating.
Zinc-nickel is a binary zinc alloy with about 6 ÷ 20 % Ni. This alloy is highly resistant to corrosion environmental influences and heating. Additionally, we cover zinc-nickel coating with a supplemental post-treatment that increases its properties.
With our plant we could treat low alloy steels, corrosion resistant steels, nickel, cobalt or copper alloys and PNs with different shape, size, complexity and needs like thickness, composition, coverage and adherence of plating.
In particular, adhesion of zinc-nickel plating on substrate is a very critical topic: Processi Speciali enhances and ensures it performing a “nickel strike” step before the zinc-nickel electrodeposition. Moreover, Processi Speciali is equipped with an X-ray instrument (Fischerscope X-RAY XDL 230) in order to verify easy and quickly thickness and composition (% Ni in the zinc-nickel alloy) of plating and to be compliant to the requirements of our customer. Possible hydrogen embrittlement after plating is prevented by performing relief baking.
Processi Speciali ensures high technical and engineering competences. All our staff is highly qualified and continuously updated through several training courses.
Processi Speciali can ensure short production lead time also for high rate programs thanks to the productive capacity of our plants.
